Wellness Programming

New SpringOur Wellness Program expands our geriatric focus into assisted and independent living communities. Theracare combines therapeutic activities within the context of socialization to provide a variety of programs to support seniors physically, mentally and socially far beyond what most social services programs can offer. This program is flexible to needs and desires of each community but can include the following:

  • Individualized and group exercise programs including weight training, yoga, walking clubs and cardiovascular-strengthening
  • Physical awareness workshops such as proper body mechanics and fall prevention strategies
  • Body/Mind/Spirit connections with depression screenings and mental health awareness

Benefits of this program include increased strength and mobility, enhanced mental alertness and social interaction and improved coordination and balance, to name a few.

Theracare works with clients to provide programming unique to your community by:

  • Providing menu selection of services and pricing options
  • Working within the physical setting of the community without requiring dedicated work space or expensive equipment purchases
  • Drawing upon resources within the community to compliment the range of programs offered.
